The work behind the method

From the front lines of leadership

For more than two decades — across corporate boardrooms, disaster front lines, international classrooms, and organizational leadership — I’ve worked alongside the people who carry the weight of keeping others steady when conditions are anything but.

From Manhattan to the Middle East, I’ve guided leaders across continents, cultures, and generations through the moments that reveal what leadership is actually made of. That work became the Mosaic Intelligence Method™ — a leadership operating system built on Emotional Integrity, Cultural Flexibility, and Identity Agility, designed for leaders who need more than inspiration. They need infrastructure.

My mission is clear: to build cultures where emotionally intelligent leadership is not the exception — it is the standard.
“Human connection is the most underutilized leadership strategy of our time. That is what this work changes.”

Insurance & Claims

Adjusters & claims leaders

For adjusters, claims directors, and insurance teams leading people through pressure — not just managing processes.

They walk out witha way to hold a claims floor together through a catastrophe season without burning out the people carrying it.
Claim the Lead · Communicate, Connect, and Lead · Leading After the Storm
Executives & EI

Executives & leaders

For leaders and organizations building cultures of trust, clarity, and composure that hold when conditions don’t.

They walk out witha map of where their leadership is quietly fragile — and the first structural move to fix it.
The Mosaic Way™ · Composed · The Mosaic Intelligence Method™
Education

Educators & school leaders

For principals, districts, and educators leading teams and students through constant change.

They walk out withlanguage for the load teachers are carrying — and a way to distribute it that doesn’t depend on the same three people.
Lead Anyway · Beyond the Bell · Curriculum partnerships
The Mosaic Intelligence Method™

Three capacities. One operating system.

Leadership complexity doesn’t disappear — it becomes navigable when the right infrastructure is in place. The Method installs three capacities at every level of an organization, so leadership holds when conditions don’t.

01

Emotional Integrity

The capacity to stay grounded, honest, and steady under pressure — so decisions hold up when the stakes are highest.

02

Cultural Flexibility

The range to lead and communicate clearly across difference, context, and change — not as a values statement, but as an operational skill.

03

Identity Agility

The ability to adapt how you lead without losing who you are — the foundation for trust that survives real conditions.

The Mosaic Shift Matrix™

Every organization is sitting in one of four states.

The Matrix reads a team on two axes. Structural clarity — do people know what holds, and who holds it? And load distribution — is the weight carried evenly, or by a few? Where those two lines cross is where your organization actually lives.

Structural clarity →
High clarity · uneven load

Reactive Structure

People know what to do — but the weight is not carried evenly.

High clarity · balanced load

Stewarded Architecture

Leadership that holds. The destination.

Low clarity · uneven load

Fragile Architecture

Where most struggling organizations actually live.

Low clarity · balanced load

Managed Stability

It feels calm. The structure is still weak.

Load distribution →
The Mosaic Shift™

The movement toward Stewarded Architecture — building clarity that holds, and load that is actually shared.

Keynotes & Speaking

A keynote should change how people lead when they leave the room.

Research-grounded keynotes for executives, educators, insurance & claims leaders, crisis teams, and multicultural organizations — an operational system for leading under pressure, not inspiration that fades by Monday.

I didn't learn composure in a classroom. I learned it on catastrophe claims floors, after the storm, standing with people whose roofs were gone — and in international classrooms from Manhattan to the Middle East.

Signature keynote

The Mosaic Shift: how leadership moves from fragile to stewarded.

Most organizations look strong but quietly run on a few people — and that fragility stays hidden until someone leaves. This keynote reframes the problem from people to architecture, hands the room a simple map of where they stand, and shows how leadership becomes a shared system that holds even when any one person steps away.

What your audience walks away with
  • A new lens: why their best people being overloaded is a structural problem, not a personal one.
  • The Mosaic Shift Matrix™: a four-room map they can locate themselves on before they leave the room.
  • The three capacities and four behaviors that move a team from fragile toward stewarded.
  • One concrete test of real progress — and a first move they can make this week.

How we’ll work together

No two rooms need the same talk. Here is exactly what happens between the signed agreement and the standing ovation.

01
A real pre-call

We talk before I build anything. What is actually going on in your organization, what your people are tired of hearing, and what you need them doing differently on Monday.

02
Your data, not my slides

Your team takes the free 3-minute Mosaic Shift Assessment™ before the event. I open with what your organization actually reported — not a generic case study.

03
On site, early, all in

I arrive early, sound-check, and stay. Book signings, breakouts, VIP dinners, hallway conversations — ask and the answer is usually yes.

04
It doesn’t end at the applause

Your audience leaves with tools they can use that week, and your team gets a follow-up path — workbooks, a cohort, or licensing — so the shift actually holds.

The long game

Success rarely happens overnight.

I have been writing for a long time. Long before the doctorate, before the system had a name, before anyone called any of it leadership work — there was a girl who wrote, and kept writing.

The work was recognized early: a Gold Medal at the NAACP’s national ACT-SO competition, recognition in an HBO writing competition, training at SUNY Purchase. And then came the long middle — the years nobody claps for. More than twenty published titles. Two decades of work alongside leaders in corporate boardrooms, on disaster front lines, and in international classrooms from Manhattan to the Middle East.

One of my first literary milestones came over a decade ago — Uncertainty to Confidence, and a Silver LIVING NOW Book Award. This year, a new season: Composed: The Mosaic Advantage, named a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

Different books. Different seasons. Same purpose: to create work that helps people lead with courage, clarity, and compassion.

The global lens

Cultural Flexibility isn’t a chapter I read. It’s a place I lived.

Four years in the Middle East — living and working in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, researching expatriate identity, interculturalism, and super-diversity in the places where those forces actually collide. Not a case study. A residence.

Worked in the Gulf

Dubai and Saudi Arabia — leading and learning inside organizations where difference is the default condition, not the diversity initiative.
